Critical Acclaim– "Michael Hollinger's fine new Ghost-Writer starts off the Arden season with a quiet bang. This engrossing, old-fashioned play is about the drama of writing - and typing - and creativity and love. People who care about semicolons (and you know who you are), this show is for you…[An] extraordinary marriage between fiction and theater." –The Philadelphia Inquirer [Review] "The biggest miracle, Ghost-Writer reveals, is how creativity allows us to connect with each other; like many ghost stories, Ghost-Writer is also a love story." –City Paper [Review] "Hollinger’s writing is agile and the characters are compelling enough that our attention never wavers. An intimate, quiet production that puts the focus on [his] words and the strong performances." –Philadelphia Weekly [Review] "A lovely and stirring drama about the written word and the emotions it can provoke. Written with eloquence and insight." –Talkin' Broadway [Review] "Ghost-Writer concerns the mysterious process of literary creation. That’s quite a monumental task, but Michael Hollinger handles it so well that the drama flows with energy and wit. Megan Bellwoar is mesmerizing in the part." –Broad Street Review [Review] Behind the Scenes– A complex heroine, written for his wife -The Philadelphia Inquirer [Read More] Ghost-Writer explores questions of truth -The Intelligencer [Read More] Getting out the ‘Ghost’ -Main Line Media News [Read More] |
