About The Writers' Room–

In The Writers’ Room, a playwright is in residence at the Arden for six weeks, completing the draft of a new play. Several weeks later, the play begins a workshop and rehearsal period, culminating in a production with a limited run of public performances. This unique program a continuation of the Arden’s strong commitment to developing and producing new work, and has brought over 34 new works of American theatre to the stage – many of which have since been produced at theatres across the country.
