You have decided to study theatre in college! This six week class will help you prepare for the process of applying and auditioning to colleges for theatre. From what theatre schools are out there, to what should my resume look like to how do I prepare for this audition, this course will walk you through all you need to know and what you can come to expect. On the last day of class, students will each present monologues they have worked on for a guest – just like a real audition.

There’s a lot more to theatre than acting. Designers tell a story with sets, lights, props, costumes and sound. Work with talented designers and have backstage access at the Arden as you work with Acting and Musical Theatre classes to enhance their scenes with design elements.
