Lookingglass Theatre Company's Lookingglass Alice is an incredible acrobatic adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and is most enjoyed by children 10 and older.

Ferdinand the Bull is based on the book The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson and is written by Karen Zacarias with music by Debbie Wicks La Puma. Performance times are as follows this weekend:

Saturday, May 26 at noon and 4pm
Sunday, May 27 at noon and 4pm (4pm is the final performance of the show's run)

Tickets: $26 - $30 for adults, $18 - $22 for teens and $14 - $16 for kids

A classic tale of individuality set in 1930s Spain, Ferdinand the Bull is a hilarious family-friendly musical about a bull who doesn't want to fight like all the other bulls – he just wants to take care of his beautiful flowers. While his father plans to make young Duquíto Danilo a great Spanish bullfighter, Danilo dreams of being a dancer. When the Duqué goes to find the toughest toro for his son's first bullfight, he mistakenly picks gentle Ferdinand. Ferdinand the Bull is an exuberant romp about being yourself and refusing to be bullied into acting like someone you're not. Kids and adults will love the clever wordplay, comical characters and lively music. Children are invited to participate in a question and answer session with the cast after every performance, and each child receives a free commemorative poster upon exit.

"An utterly charming and compelling ensemble cast ... an ideal performance for even the youngest theater-goers." -GoCityKids.com

Lookingglass Alice is an incredible acrobatic, athletic interpretation of Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland which is adapted and directed by David Catlin and presented in partnership with Lookingglass Theatre Company of Chicago and the Actors Gymnasium. Performance times are as follows this weekend:

Friday, May 25 at 8pm
Saturday, May 26 at 2 and 8pm
Sunday, May 27 at 2 and 7pm

Tickets: $29 - $45 for adults, $22 for teens and $16 for kids

Lookingglass Alice whisks audiences away to a Wonderland ruled by a larger than life Red Queen where Alice truly defies gravity and Humpty Dumpty actually falls from his perilous ledge. Audiences will be mesmerized by Lookingglass' signature style of visual storytelling filled with daring theatricality and astonishing acrobatics. Combining witty word play, madcap mischief and fantastical flights of aerial fancy, Lewis Carroll's spectacularly surreal classics are brought vividly to life in this wildly imaginative production reminiscent of Cirque du Soleil.

"Breathtaking... ingenious... amazing... Lookingglass Alice is a lively eye-widening evening." -The Philadelphia Inquirer
