Arden Theatre Company honored with 23 Barrymore nominations

Philadelphia, PA - The Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia announced the nominations for the 2009 Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theatre on Monday evening. The Arden is pleased to have received 23 nominations – more than any other theatre company in the Greater Philadelphia region. The following 2008/09 Arden productions were nominated:

The Arden was also one of two companies to receive this year's Brown Martin Philadelphia Award for My Name Is Asher Lev. This award honors plays that best lead audiences to a better understanding of the unique experiences that make up our diverse global community.

The Barrymore Awards are the Greater Philadelphia region's comprehensive theatre awards program, produced annually by the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia.
